I use high quality acrylic on canvas-covered cardboard. I designed this painting with application of 22-carat gold leaf motifs.
For this creation I was inspired by a MTG card I altered in full art
Originally, I wanted to offer a personal and artistic version of Birds of Paradise from Magic The Gathering, like a bird from my personal mythology. The gold motifs blend with the painted ones, creating a luminous landscape. The white bird with its golden feathers takes flight in front of the central sun in the distance. Particles of gold emerge from its wings and spread through the air. Clouds in the shape of auspicious motifs reinforce the positive character of the scene. A rare and precious moment.
The painting brings out the reflections of the gold when a light source is placed near it (lighting or window).
